Contextual Architecture Study
Identify a building in Asia and investigate through observation and readings on contemporary Contextual Architecture practices and issues in Asia.
Based on the selected building, we were required to conduct literature review on its vernacular architecture reference attributes such as culture, construction, structure, layout, & etc.

Case Study Paper
Using the same building, we needed to identify the specific topic/ issues/significance of study and then define specific scope of study.
Using the selected building, we were required to generate a good research title that reflects the research intention and specific scope of study, within the framework of Contextual Architecture and significance of study.

Learning Outcome
1. Analyse and discuss in depth on th selected research area based on th selected building, within the framework of Contextual Archtecture.
2. Identify significant elements of Contextual Architecture thorugh investigation on the selected building.
3. Produce, orally and in writing, a critical interpretation of Contextual Architecture of the selected building.
Through out this project, i am able to differentiate the vernacular and contextual architecture in Asia. With the case study research, I know that the importance of sustainability of building and the benefits of vernacular architecture. Besides that, I learnt a lot in wrinting a report, the format and also the topic to be cover and so on. Furthermore, I also learnt the way to elaborate the main topic with in depth research. Moreover, I gained alot of knowledge about the vernacular and contextual architecture that will help in my future design. Other than that, I knew and understand my selected building China Pavilion with in depth reseach. On the other hand, I also learn more about the Chinese Vernacular Architecture.
As a conclusion I learnt a lot of knowledges and skills that will lead me to a better place in future.
