PROJECT 1 SKETCHBOOK & JOURNAL
This project is an on-site exercise where students have to sketch and documents the physical and intangible qualities of the buildings as well as the immediate context of the site. It can be from an element as broad as the urban planning itself down to the smallest detail of the ornaments used in the building.

The sketches are divided into four categories, which are :-
1. The Genius Loci
2. Poetic Quality
3. Cultural Attributes
4. Technical /Construction details
After this project I have learnt to be more observant to the surrounding, knowing the main focus and enlarge the details. I also have more knowledge about architecture style and the beauty and specification of architecture. To produce a great sketch book, I have learnt to sketch in architecture way where details and the spirit of the place can be shown through sketches. To be an architect, we must have our own way and style to draw out our design.
PROJECT 2 BUILDING REPORT & VIDEO
The report is a document that accompanies the set of drawings for the building that is measured during the semester. Basically, the report will elaborate on the significance of the building being measured from various aspects such as architectural, historical and cultural. In this report, we are required to relate the architecture of the building to its significance, highlighting how the two support the inhabitation of the building. A video documenting the building is required to provide 3D experience of the building.
In this project, we have to documents the significance of the building to accompany the measured drawings We must learn to analyse the relationship between architecture and the significance of the building as well as its inhabitation. In this project, we explain the application of architectural historic documents.

PROJECT 3 MEASURED DRAWING & MODEL
In this project, students are assigned to measure and document a historical / heritage building and translate all the data into a set of drawings and a model. Each group will have to only measure one particular building assigned by the lecturer. Apart from doing the measuring exercise on site, students will also need to do additional research in order to piece together all the important data about the building.

We as a group have to produce a set of measured drawings of historical buildings or structures in a specific location. We have the chance to recognize and recall techniques of measured drawing and documentation. Besides we also have to explain the as-built building constructions, architectural details and elements.
For this project, we have to focus and pay attention on:-
1. Accuracy and efficiency of collecting information during fieldwork
2. Completeness of the drawings submitted
3. Application of drawing convention, line thickness, symbols, abbreviation, layout , scale, labelling, annotation etc
4. Progress – constant and / or increased development in the production of drawings and model
5. Accuracy – ability to translate physical data into drawings and model
6. Clarity – readable and comprehensive drawings and model
7. Creativity and workmanship of the model
